06 what is your character reluctant to tell people? she doesn’t talk too much about the past because it potentially brings up questions like how she ended up here, which i mean… she’s in the us illegally, technically. so she tends to avoid that. she also just. yikes at her past tbh? she’ll mention bits and pieces but not delve into it. apart from that, she hates hates admitting insecurities/fears anything that she deems embarrassing, but if she trusts you she’s more open tbh? but she’s more comfortable talking details than feelings. she definitely experiences a whole lot of emotions deep inside, even though she appears unaffected pretty much all the time. idt it’s necessarily to mask how she feels though? it’s just how she is, how she deals which isn’t always the best thing to do but o.o she bottles everything up, though it’s not so much reluctance more … i guess it’s her default to rely on herself, in a sense? because i think pretty much everyone who has ever been in her life has proven she can’t rely on any of them, including her own family so. but unless she’s doing something illegal, petra’s generally not that secretive if it’s with people she cares about.

15 what is your character afraid of? mm. apart from screwing her children up, i mean i dont think she thinks of this at a very conscious level, but she definitely lowkey worries about people turning on her, hurting her, similar. it’s pretty much a trend in her life at this point, and so it’s difficult for her to just dismiss that possibility. and petra is not exactly always the best judge of character and she’s aware of it, sooo. :\
